Why this exists

Most of launching a business has nothing to do with the part you're good at.

Between the idea and the first customer sits a pile of admin nobody enjoys: a domain, a mailbox, a name, a logo, the words, the photography, the website, the hosting, the search listing.

Each one is a small decision. Each one can quietly go wrong. Together they are the reason good ideas sit unlaunched for months.

SohoSumo takes the whole lot off your desk. You make the calls that matter: the name, the look, the message. We build everything around them.

One arrangement, not seven suppliers

Everything in one place.

Most founders end up stitching it together themselves: a domain registrar here, a logo site there, a website builder, a hosting bill, a mailbox subscription and someone to call when it breaks. Six logins, six invoices, and nobody responsible for the whole thing.

SohoSumo covers the lot, from registering the domain to standing up your Google Business Profile, with one person to ask when something needs changing.

Done for you, not do-it-yourself

You approve. We build.

You will not be handed a template and a login and left to get on with it.

We write the brand, generate the logo set, draft the messaging, write the content for every page, put three design directions in front of you, and build the site you choose. It stays private until you are happy to sign it off.

Avoid the common traps

The bits people skip are the bits that cost them.

A launch is easy to do badly and expensive to unpick later. These are the three we see most often, and the reason the list below covers what it does.

01

Half-finished foundations

A personal email address on the business cards. A domain registered in someone else's name. A logo that only exists as a screenshot. Small things that quietly cost you work.

02

A website nobody can find

A site that looks perfectly good but was never structured to be indexed, listed or searched for. Being online is not the same as being findable.

03

Nowhere to go when it breaks

Hosting lapses. Forms stop sending. The enquiry that never arrived. Someone needs to be watching it after launch day, and it should not have to be you.

This is for you if...

  • You would rather hand the whole launch over than assemble it yourself.
  • You want to look established from the first day you trade.
  • You need to be findable in search and on the map.
  • You want one bill to pay and one person to ask.

This is not for you if...

  • You need a complex e-commerce platform or custom software build.
  • You are looking for a full ongoing agency campaign.
  • You would rather build, host and maintain the site yourself.
  • You expect guaranteed sales rather than a properly built launch.

Questions founders ask

Plain answers before you commit.

The most common ones are below. You can also read the full FAQ.

What does "done for you" actually mean?

It means we do the work and you approve it. We register the domain, set up your Google Workspace mailbox, write the brand, generate the logo in every format you need, draft the messaging, write the content for every page of the site, produce three design directions for you to choose between, build the full website of up to five pages, arrange the hosting, set it up to be found in search and get your Google Business Profile live. You make the decisions at each stage; you do not have to do the building.

What is included in the launch package?

Seven groups of work. Your Foundations: your domain registered for the first year, and a Google Workspace mailbox on your own domain, with one user and as many aliases as you like. Your Brand: identity, logo set in every format, and a brand guidelines book. Your Positioning: messaging reviewed by a strategist, a competitor scan and photography you choose. Your Website: three design directions, the words written for every page, a complete site of up to five pages built privately until you sign off, secure Cloudflare hosting and no-code editing. Get found: search and AI optimisation, verified with Google. Grow: your Google Business Profile plus a ranking page. After launch: a dashboard for enquiries and site status, one inbox for leads, changes on request, and hosting, edits and support for twelve months.

Do I get a say in how it looks?

Yes, at every point that matters. You choose the photography, you see the name, colours, voice, logo and the words for each page before anything is built, and you are given three distinct design directions to pick from. The site stays private until you have seen it and signed it off. What you are handing over is the work, not the decisions.

Do I need to commit for twelve months?

Yes. The package includes a twelve-month minimum commitment at £25 per month after the initial £379 set-up fee. Both figures include VAT. That covers the launch itself and a full year of hosting, edits and support afterwards, which is the period when most changes are needed. After the first twelve months, the monthly plan becomes a rolling agreement and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

Will I own my domain, brand and website?

Yes. Your domain is registered in your name or business name, so you remain in control of it. The brand, the logo files and the website are yours. While you stay on the monthly plan, we host and support them for you. If you cancel after the initial twelve-month term, we will provide a copy of the website files and your brand assets, plus reasonable handover guidance, so you can move elsewhere. Third-party costs remain your responsibility: domain renewal after the first year, Google Workspace charges for any user beyond the one included, premium plugins, paid fonts and external hosting.

Ready when you are

Ten minutes, and your idea starts becoming a business.

The launch questionnaire is three short steps: you and your idea, your market, and your brand. Most people finish it in one sitting with a coffee. Answer it properly and we have everything we need to start building.

You do not need to have it all worked out. "I don't know yet" is a real answer to plenty of it, and working that out with you is half the job.
